In real contrast to last Monday’s email, this
weekend I felt like (in fact i did) curling
up on the sofa and crying.
Do you ever get days when you feel like
throwing in the towel?
You feel like you are giving all you can, yet
is still never seems to be enough.
I know I am being a little dramatic but when
you get a kick in the teeth it really can
give your confidence a knock.
For me this weekend has given me 2 knocks.
One is a business thing and the other an
incident that could have been really serious.
It’s the same when you are trying to lose
I’ve seen people working their ass off on a week
only for the scales or measurements not to
budge an inch.
It’s frustrating and disheartening.
But you know what sometimes you need to have
kicks if you are going to learn and improve
On any of my plans, if someone is feeling
down or had a crappy week, all they need to
do is post in the group and everyone rally
round to make them feel better again.
Luckily I have this with my mentoring group
that I’m in.
I take a knock in business and they rally
round and help me come up with an action
You see we don’t make mistakes, only learn
One technique that I often use with my
clients, is the practice of daily gratitude.
You can’t be down about something and
grateful at the same time.
If you start thinking about the stuff that
makes you happy the shit seems less important
and you can re-gain some light and life seems
all the better again.
We often talk about making your body more
alkaline for health and to boost your immune
You immune system is so important to your
health and wellness.
Yet one of the most alkalising and immune
boosting practices is simply to be HAPPY.
Being positive and optimistic has shown to
increase life span by at least 7.5 years.
So try some daily gratitude today.
Remember it’s hard to feel mad and bitter
when you’re feeling grateful.
Practice being grateful every morning before
you get out of bed.
It can be anything from the fact you have a
roof over your head.
The people you have in your life.
I have lots to be grateful for when I start
to think about it, but ,
For me this morning it was seeing my little
boy smile back at me as I poked my finger up
his nose to make him laugh.
I’m also very grateful for the fact that baby
number 2 is also on the way, (even if I am
a little over emotional at the moment)
Hit reply and let me know what you are
grateful for today.
Actually do it now and see how much better it
makes you feel.
